  • Job Type: Full-time

    Responsibilities:

    - Barrel threading and chambering

    - Optic cuts and slide machining

    - Design and manufacture custom parts

    - Bluing and parkerizing ​

    - Customize, modify, and repair a variety of firearms including but not limited to 1911s, AK Platform, VEPR-12/Saiga-12, pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns.

    - Ensure all work complies with ATF regulations and maintain accurate records.​

    - Communicate with customers about quotes, timelines, project updates, and advice on additional services if necessary

    Qualifications:

    - Proven experience in gunsmithing with a focus on precision machining and custom firearm work.​

    - Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines for firearm applications.​

    - Strong understanding of firearm mechanics, and ballistics.​

    - Familiarity with ATF regulations and compliance requirements.​

    - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.​

    - Certificate from gunsmithing program or hands-on experience.

  • Job Type: Full-time

    McCluskey Arms Company is hiring one highly motivated apprentice to work directly with the owner inside a fast-growing firearms company.

    This is not a typical job. Every day is different.

    What You'll Do

    During the first year you will work directly with the owner helping solve problems and improve systems across the company. Projects may include:

    • Assisting with gunsmithing and machine shop work

    • Installing computers, networking equipment, or software

    • Organizing parts and logistics

    • Supporting operations and internal projects

    The Career Path

    This is a rotating apprenticeship role that becomes available as past assistants move into permanent positions within the company. This role is designed to help someone build a long-term career in the firearms industry.

    Year 1: You learn the business by working on real projects across the company.

    Year 2: You may choose to specialize and receive more focused training in areas such as:

    • Gunsmithing, manufacturing, or machining

    • IT systems, automation, or E-commerce

    • Product development

    • Logistics & operations or Sales

    Qualifications

    This role is for someone who likes figuring things out, building systems and solving problems, working with computers and tools. Helpful interests include firearms, shooting sports, machining, IT, fixing things, small business.

    No formal experience or education is required. However, you must be hands-on, capable, and eager to learn quickly.

    Requirements

    • Absolutely no drug use

    • Must be able to legally possess firearms

    • Must be able to pass a background check

    Compensation

    • Minimum wage during initial training

    • Regular pay increases as skills and responsibilities grow
