- Bluing and parkerizing
- Customize, modify, and repair a variety of firearms including but not limited to 1911s, AK Platform, VEPR-12/Saiga-12, pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns.
- Ensure all work complies with ATF regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with customers about quotes, timelines, project updates, and advice on additional services if necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in gunsmithing with a focus on precision machining and custom firearm work.
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines for firearm applications.
- Strong understanding of firearm mechanics, and ballistics.
- Familiarity with ATF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certificate from gunsmithing program or hands-on experience.

McCluskey Arms is seeking a professional, polished, and highly organized individual to serve as the first point of contact for customers in our firearms pro shop.
This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient customer experience from the moment a client walks in, calls, or makes a purchase. The Pro Shop Concierge will greet customers, answer phones, assist with retail sales, run background checks, support FFL transfers and pickups, and help maintain a clean, professional showroom environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and create a professional, welcoming first impression.
Answer phones and route customer questions to the appropriate team member.
Check customers in for retail purchases and transfers.
Assist with basic retail sales, merchandising, and showroom organization.
Help maintain a clean, organized, high-end pro shop environment.
Support customer follow-up and administrative tasks.
Assist with POS transactions and basic computer-based customer records.
Coordinate with the gunsmithing shop, sales staff, and management to keep customer communication smooth and accurate.
Help ensure each customer receives a seamless, professional experience.
Follow all company policies related to firearm handling, customer identification, background checks, transfers, and recordkeeping.
Support ATF, FFL, and internal compliance procedures as directed by management.
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a busy retail and service environment.
Basic computer and phone skills.
Retail, hospitality, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred.
Interest in firearms or willingness to learn preferred.
Must be dependable, organized, and comfortable working with a wide range of customers.
Compliance Requirements
Because this position involves working in a federally regulated firearms business, candidates must be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local firearms laws and company compliance policies.
Candidates must:
Be legally eligible to work around and handle firearms.
Be able to pass any required background check.
Not be prohibited from possessing or handling firearms.
Be willing to follow all ATF, FFL, and company procedures related to firearm sales, transfers, background checks, Form 4473, identification verification, and recordkeeping.
Maintain a drug-free and alcohol-free work environment.
Demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail, and strict confidentiality when handling customer information and regulated transactions.
