At McCluskey Arms Co., we offer expert bluing services to restore and protect your firearms. Bluing is a traditional finish that not only provides a classic look but also offers excellent corrosion resistance. By creating a protective coating with a tight molecular structure, bluing holds oil and prevents rust from forming on the metal.

All bluing services are subject to a disassembly fee and require at least 1 hour of surface prep charged at $100 per hour. Surface prep hours are dependent on the sheen chosen. Sheen options are listed below.

McCluskey Arms offers five bluing sheens based on surface prep. The labor hours listed below are estimates to provide a general idea for cost, but prep hours may vary based on the type and condition of the firearm. All bluing services require at least 1 hour of surface prep.
